Exhaust

Postby Bigalshakespeare » Thu Dec 28, 2006 3:15 pm

The exhaust on my Jialing gave up the ghost after a trip on the motorway (freeway) of 750 miles. :(
The good news was I averaged 80miles an hour with a return of 75-80mpg, and I topped 95mph!!! :D
Only 1400miles on an exhaust is not good though but I knew the exhaust was poor quality. Anyone tell me the name of a good new exhaust?

Exhaust interchangeability??

bigal:
If you have access to some kind of drawing of your Jialing exhaust, I can scan and upload the Helix shop manual's drawing of the Helix exhaust for comparison. This same drawing is freely available from many Honda dealerships' "Parts Shopping" pages, but these images may not low resolution since they are from Honda's parts microfiches.

E-mail me if you want me to do this, and I'll e-mail you a link to the page when it is ready.

Anyone else interested in exploring this potential source of replacement parts can join the party - - so far it's free!

As long as they don't hurt you too badly on shipping, that could be a real bargain. Like yours, they probably have a short lifespan, but they are disposable consumables at that price.

Unfortunately the shipping is high
I dont know what it would be to America though
My dealer is importing over a test scooter and has asked if they can ship the exhaust in with the scooter. If they can.....I am getting a few exhausts while I can!!!!! :D

The best exhaust i know is Ghosh and it comes original from Honda, I have already done 140,000 km with the original Ghosh exhaust.
