Windy Ride

Postby wilsongj » Thu Mar 29, 2018 2:07 pm

Hi there, Helix land, went for my first proper run out today, about 100 miles, windy as hell from directly side on. Has anyone found a technique to counter the mad weaving in gusts of wind! ??

I don't ride if the wind is 20 mph or gusting to much over that. Removing the rack mounted trunk if you have one cuts down the crosswind effect on you.

I do not have a top box although I keep looking, Helix (Spazio) is as rare as hens teeth over here so are after market bits. Parts very expensive in France, eg, locally sourced windscreen 235 euro's, direct from Japan 85 euro's. Still, wine is cheap and the weather is usually warm!
