Anyone used Dual Sport tires?

Has anyone used dual sport tires on their scooters?

Namely: IRC TR-1 Dual Sport tires -or- Bridgestone Trailwing

For both, they come in 4.00-10 and are a front or rear mount tire. (This is for my Elite 250, front and rear are the same size). They are fairly knobby which I like. They look like they would grip better than standard street tires.

I'm in need of a front tire badly and those tires are a much more affordable than the ML17.

The IRC one is $41 shipped on this site.. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/12 ... -rear-tire

The Trailwing runs about $51 shipped... http://www.amazon.com/Bridgestone-TW-Tr ... B0043YKMN4

I haven't looked close enough to see if the rear tire is an ML16 (newer tire) but I did see Bridgestone and the tread pattern looks like an ML16. If it's that godawful ML50 like I had my Helix, I'll be replacing that tire very quickly. Unless the ML50 wore down so bad due to the trike kit. I don't know.
