Chinese body panel durability question

Postby MotoHelix » Fri Aug 29, 2014 1:01 pm

Are Chinese clone body panels more durable than old stock OEM Helix panels? I just bought a 2004 CFMOTO Fashion 250 and whacked the front end when loading it, and it didn't even faze it.

Thanks,
Mike

I think you got lucky. Most times OEM Helix panels are more flexible.

From what I ve read more then once Chinese body panels are not as good as stock helix . Pant doesn't hold up as long , Seem to crack. I could be wrong but we all know the internet never lies at all posting.php?mode=reply&f=14&t=3082#

In my opinion after market panels are not bad, but clearly not the same quality plastic and thickness as OEM
